AB Health Minister Adriana LaGrange unable to explain how switching to Covenant Health would not reduce access to health services (eg: reproductive health care, MAID). Great questioning by Shaye Ganam to repeatedly ask and challenge LaGrange on her non-answers. #ableg #abpoli

Tax dollars are spent on expanding roads with barely an ounce of scrutiny. Meanwhile, expanding one of the most heavily used LRT lines in North America is "throwing good money after bad." Can't throw good money after bad if you're lighting it all on fire first #yyccc #abpoli

🧵/Today politics of the UCP and a desire to own Nenshi has outweighed the interests of hundreds of thousands of Calgarians as the province has once again removed itself from funding the Green Line Calgary #abpoli #yyccc

Alberta has made it clear that it's closed for business. Canceling a billion dollar project of this magnitude and this vision shows Calgarians where the priorities of Premier Smith and the UCP really are - and they aren't with Calgarians, and they certainly aren’t with business.

I said the costs to wind down could likely exceed the additional 1/3 extra provincial funding needed to take the existing alignment to Shepard. But also, yes, total costs to date plus costs to wind down would exceed total of $1.53 million from ‘committed’ from province.

Buried in this headline is that the province has repeatedly forced the project through arbitrary hoops, causing chaos and cost only to back out at the last hour. Don't let them off the hook #yyccc. Calgarians deserve to know who killed the Green Line. cbc.ca/news/canada/ca…

I’ll put out a video tomorrow with my full thoughts on Green Line but suffice it to say that the UCP’s decision to delay this project time and again will leave scars on this city for decades to come. A sad day in our city’s history. #yyccc #yyc

10 years of headwinds for the Green Line Calgary in the form of delays, inflation, changing market factors and opposition doesn't change the fact that the case for mass transit in Calgary is incredibly strong. Its mind numbing that we are where we are right now. #yyc #yyccc 1/2

A deal is a deal. Or so we thought. The AB government has made every future infrastructure project in our province more expensive. Going back on your word is not the sign of a business-friendly government. Read more in my Op-Ed for the Herald: calgaryherald.com/opinion/column…

I cannot overstate this… if you are afraid that your child is going to have a gender affirming surgery at school but you aren’t afraid they may be shot at school, there is no way we’re living in the same nation.

This video is worth the 2 minutes of your time. If you’re wondering where 1.5 billion dollars of our taxes has gone—here’s a peek. A lot of people think the Green Line is still a conceptual idea--It’s not--It's an active construction project that the UCP just killed. The big

Like it or not: Germany’s energy system is fully operational, with more than 50% renewables. And we are shutting down – not building – coal & nuclear plants. Coal will be off the grid by 2038 at the latest. PS: We also don’t eat cats and dogs. #Debate2024

These comments confirm my suspicion that this government is abandoning inner city rail up Centre St for Calgary's North in favour of a commuter line to primarily serve Airdrie & the Red Deer Corridor. The daily commutes of my residents are to school, work, grocery stores and

Cats! Dogs! Geese! Laura Loomer! Look, now he’s attacking Taylor! Like the last season before a show gets canceled for getting over-the-top and, at the same time, boring. This election is about jobs, wages, climate, health care, abortion. Not his show. Your life.
