Viper's Creed, as I mentioned, is an anime about mechs and bulletstorms. It has plots and counterplots. There was indeed a surprise ending that I'd forgotten, but it impressed Past R86 more than it did Present R86. It stays at 7/10 at MAL, and in my memories.

The people behind Bakuten seem to love ending their episodes with cliffhangers. Still, if they can really stick the landing (so to speak) with their last episode, they'll have something just as special as Oofuri, only much more concise.

Next on my rewatch list was Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei, also known as The Tatami Galaxy. It's about time loops and alternate choices in the life of a young man whom we get to know only as "Watashi." This is fun though. Who knows? I might even get to the full box sets eventually.

Even though I probably shouldn't be in its target audience, Bakuten easily gets the 9/10 from me at MAL for sticking the landing (so to speak) perfectly. Apparently we have been promised a movie sequel already.

I remembered absolutely nothing of RahXephon all the way through the last moments. I'm beginning to wonder if in my innocence I had actually watched the movie. So I'll watch that too.

Still have to start rewatching Bounen no Xam'd, but I just noticed that "bounen" means something like "lost remembrances." And I have certainly lost every single last remembrance.

Bounen no Xam'd is billed as a mecha anime, but after rewatching six episodes, I'm not so sure. I'd say it's a steampunk anime set in a world at war.

Boku no Hero Academia had better cool it with all this profound and heartrending stuff after that 18th episode. Otherwise I might have to raise it to 9/10 at MAL, making it my highest rated long-running series.

I made it eight minutes into the first episode of Chainsaw Man, which was probably more than enough to give me nightmares. Once again the show that has everyone talking is not for me.

If Yowamushi Pedal is back, then I will continue to hope that Ookiku Furikabutte will come back someday. Even if the voice actors are 70 by now.

I'll dream bigger still. If they can remake Urusei Yatsura, they can remake Saint Seiya. Though after the 2014 CGI movie, which everyone hated but I loved, there's probably no point.

I really wanted to like the remake of Urusei Yatsura, having never seen the original. However, after three episodes, I can say that it's not for me, and that my reputation of having bad taste still stands.

It probably doesn't help my reputation that I'm on board with Blue Lock for now, though I predict it will get really dark and possibly too dark for me.
