A lovely evening at Heartwood Forest yesterday. Whilst waiting for my granddaughter who was at Beavers in the scout hut, a Common Whitethroat popped up singing. Also saw a Peregrine Falcon and heard a Garden Warbler. The wildflowers are beautiful too. #hertsbirds Woodland Trust🌳

Juvenile Peregrine taking food from the adult yesterday afternoon at St Albans Cathedral. We thought it could be a Woodpecker. The juveniles are flying further afield now so didn’t see them much all day. St Albans Cathedral Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust #hertsbirds
