The last day of #AFAC22 is for our Professional Development Program! This morning 4 groups headed off for field trips across Adelaide and 3 workshops are running on recovery, lithium-ion batteries and spatial technologies.

It was great to witness this generational change in how we prepare for bushfires. When coupled with the Australian Warning System, and the dedicated fire and emergency services sector, communities will be better equipped to make the right decisions wherever they are.

This team really do have brains the size of planets. A great example of science supporting smart decisions.
