Very long standing O for Sen. Mitch McConnell here in Graves County. This is his 30th Fancy Farm and says it’s “not my last.”

“I’ve heard that one of the candidates running for my office wants to be different. Now, I’m wondering how you’d want to be different from the longest-serving leader in American history. I’m wondering how you’d want to be different in supporting President Trump.”

Emphasizes that he votes more with Trump than Rand Paul. “A little quiz: Which of Kentucky's two Republican senators supports President Trump the most? It's actually me.”

“I didn’t just get to the position I got into to brag about it. I wanted to deliver for you… I didn’t use that for national purposes only.” Now reading a list of what he’s done for KY over the last 41 years.

He asked staff to total up the amount of money he’s responsible for bringing into Kentucky. $60 billion, he says. Paducah gaseous diffusion plant is $5.4 billion. $2.5 billion for the tobacco settlement, I believe.

“Without the opportunities you gave me, Kentucky could never have punched above its weight and had the kind of influence we've had on national policy. We put Kentucky on the map. Let's keep it there.“
