Roberts Group at UMN is a team of both organic & inorganic chemists who worked on creating a chemical compound that could lead to new drug treatments, safer agricultural products, & better electronics. Read more at z.umn.edu/ChemicalCompou… @umnews @umnresearch UMN Department of Chemistry
Check out our awesome collaboration with Aleksandr Zhukhovitskiy in J. Am. Chem. Soc. on skeletal editing of polymers via Pd-catalyzed 3,3-sigmatropic rearrangements! There are *so many* exciting possibilities with this chemistry and I'm thrilled to see what we can do in this space!
PhD Candidate Alexander Umanzor (Alex Umanzor) of the Roberts Group at UMN was recently named a CAS Future Leader. We are lucky to have grad students like Alex who are #DriventoDiscover! 👏👏👏 #UMNProud cse.umn.edu/chem/news/alex…
Congrats to jenna humke on a successful PhD thesis defense! Jenna made an immeasurable impact on the Roberts Group at UMN and tackled our most challenging project on accessing “inaccessible” arynes! I’m so thankful for her many contributions to the group!
Congrats to Roberts Group at UMN former postdoc Roman Belli!! Roman is a tremendous chemist and I am so grateful for his many contributions to the group! I cannot wait to see what comes from his group during his independent career!!
🚨 Super excited to share that I’ll be an Assistant Professor at the University of Winnipeg! Can’t wait to get my research started! 👨🏻🔬 Special shout out to my amazing mentors Courtney Roberts and Lisa Rosenberg for all their support along the way!
Congrats to rising 5th year grad students Brylon Denman (Brylon Denman) and Chris Seong (Chris Seong) for receiving UMN Doctoral Dissertation Fellowships!! cse.umn.edu/chem/news/seve…
