Commonwealth Edison will begin utility relocations this week at Harnish and Randall. The work will occur on the east side of the road (northbound lanes), and continue to the north towards Huntington Dr. Traffic disruptions should be minimal as work is occurring in the parkway.

Installation of temporary traffic signals and temporary lighting will begin this week at various intersections. Also, Nicor will begin utility relocation work along the north side of Algonquin Rd. Visit randallroad.info for more info.

Watch for new temporary traffic signals installed today at Bunker Hill/Huntington Dr. and Randall Rd., and at Algonquin Rd. and Randall Rd. These installations replace the permanently mounted traffic signals allowing the intersections to be fully functional during construction.

Beginning Thursday, March 14, 2019, daily lane closures will occur as the contractor begins work to remove existing medians on Randall Rd. and Algonquin Rd. This will allow the placement of temporary pavement for traffic to be shifted as the roadway is widened.

Lane closures on Randall Rd 5/22 - 5/24. Lanes will be reduced to 1 lane in each direction on Randall Rd today through Friday for the installation of storm sewer across Randall Rd north of Acorn Ln. Reductions will occur between the hours of 7am and 5pm. Please plan accordingly.

AT&T utility work will require a lane closure on eastbound Algonquin Rd, west of the Randall/Algonquin intersection. This will begin Wed. 5/29. Southbound Randall Rd, from north of Acorn Ln to Algonquin Rd, will also have daily lane closures for utility work.

Beginning tomorrow 6/13/2019 and continuing thru next week there will be daytime lane closures in the following locations: •Northbound Randall Road – Harnish Drive to Huntington Drive •Westbound Algonquin Road – Crystal Lake Road to Harvest Gate

The driveway access between Taco Bell and Steak ‘n Shake off Randall Rd will be closed weather permitting June 24th through June 28th for temporary concrete pavement installation. Access to adjoining businesses is available at the entrance directly to the north and via Acorn Ln.

Temporary pavement installation is complete on the north side of Algonquin Road. Beginning Tuesday 7/9, traffic will be shifted to the newly installed pavement so work can begin on the south side of Algonquin Road. Access to area businesses will be maintained at all times.
