Our first official visit to the north was amazing. We visited schools to encourage Pimicikamak youth to pursue education & health care careers, and celebrated PCN's new health centre. Can't wait to work together to bring birthing and dialysis services to PCN.

One of the students I work with went to the eye doctor last week. When asked to read the chart, he quickly and accurately said the sound(s) each letter represents. The mom had to say to him, "This is the doctor not Mr Weir. Just say the names of the letters." Too funny.
