Registration is now open for the next Functional DNA Nanotechnology (FDN) Workshop! After 4 editions in Rome, this year the FDN will be hosted by TimLiedl and Friedrich Simmel in Munich (26-28 June). Great line-up of invited speakers (as always 😀). Looking forward to it!

It's all about timing...how to time signaling events in synthetic genes to control assembly/disassembly of DNA polymers . Really glad to see this out (for now in Biorxiv)! A new collaborative work with Elisa Franco with the invaluable help of Daniela Sorrentino and Simona Ranallo.

New in @sciencemagazine: science.org/doi/10.1126/sc… 3D photonic crystals for visible wavelengths have long been a difficult challenge due to the needed resolution. We tackled the problem with DNA nanotechnology which offers assembly control on the molecular scale.

👏👏👏 Thanks Lorenzo! This was a very nice collaborative work led by Juliette Bucci! It was great to see how versatile these DNA condensates are...hopefully more to come soon!
