What a proud day for our school council and year 6 school councillors yesterday!

What a fantastic night at the Christmas Fayre and thank you to the Repton Primary PTA for organising such a brilliant event for our school 🎅🏻

Today, 4 lucky RPS Superstar wristband children went to Findern Garden Centre with Mr Tague to collect some new fish for our fish tank. They were also treated to a snack and a drink in the cafe Dobbies

On Friday our school council organised a cake sale to raise money to help the animals that have been displaced or injured in the recent Australian bush fires. The event was a huge success and raised an amazing £309! Thanks to the generosity of all our parents and friends.

Yesterday I posted the very first of my new 'Good News' postcards. These are just a way of acknowledging those wonderful things I encounter every day in our amazing school. Keep an eye out as one might be dropping through your letter box soon! Mr Tague.

This morning we were treated to some fantastic jazz music as HHMusicDerby performed in our assembly to promote jazz and brass instruments. If your child might be interested in learning one they have been asked to get a letter from the school office.

Today Mr Tague represented RPS at the Village Hall pancake tossing competition - 64 in 1 minute!

Our Robins have just completed their 'balanceability' training with South Derbyshire Active Schools Partnership. Well done to all our children!

This week we have been celebrating World Book Day all week with lots of reading activities taking place. Today, on WBD, staff and children are dressed as book characters (more pics later) and we have 32 reading volunteers in the hall so that every child gets to read to an adult.

On WBD some of our children were taken to Waterstones Derby to pick a book. They behaved perfectly and loved the chance to choose a book from a book shop. The staff at Waterstone's were so welcoming and helpful. Thanks to Repton School for the use of the minibus for the afternoon.
