2 weeks ago I started showering at work after every shift in effort to lower the risk of me bringing Covid home. I've gotta tell you, it's refreshing to arrive home clean, and it's helps to start the decompression from the day. I may keep this up, even on the other side!

To new grad students: Get ready to make mistakes. Thousands. Interpersonal, scientific, small, large. Thousands. If you already knew it, you would not need the degree. The real test is what you do after you mess up.

As violence, particularly gun crime, spikes in many communities- to include mine, we must look to evidence-based practices that follow strategies suggested by those like Thomas Abt- focused, balanced/fair, and measured. Anything less is a disservice to our community.
