Tomorrow is the start of what I jokingly call my Tour of Europe. In the next 1.5 weeks, I'll be spending 4 nights and at least 2 days in coaches, and cross borders between 5 countries. I'm so glad I'm able to sleep in a bus. Otherwise I couldn't do things like that. #nofly

First leg of my "Tour of Europe" these next weeks. Came by train to Nuremberg, and right now I'm settling in for the first of 4 nights in a coach (to Austria). Worked on the "Here I Stand And Face The Rain" posting on the train, but somehow I'm reluctant to finish HHAL.

I finally finished Here I Stand And Face The Rain and started work on Scoundrel Days - on a coach traveling from Berlin to Oslo. Three countries in one day, with the fourth coming up early tomorrow morning. This is exactly why I call it my Tour of Europe. Free WiFi on board FTW!

On the long way back - left Oslo on the bus last night and just woke up in time to catch a very blurry image of Öresund bridge at dawn, in heavy rain.

At he big Frankfurt Book Fair in Germany in 2 weeks, Norway is "guest of honor". There's an exhibition on Norwegian Architecture called “In Norwegian Landscapes – Hunting high and low” ! I just had to smile, those words sound familiar... 😀 a-ha norway2019.com/en/program

Performance of Magne Furuholmen's "There Goes Another Year" in Oslo tonight. Phone said -5 deg but felt much colder - sorry for less than perfect cinematography, but my hands were so frozen I couldn't feel them, and I looked at the musicians, not at my phone. Thank you Magne Furuholmen!

50 hrs since I left Haugesund on Tue evening right after the event, taking the bus to Oslo, then left Oslo yesterday on the bus to Hamburg, changed buses again in Berlin, and just drove the last hour back to my end of the world. Photo: Fehmarnsund Bridge, early morning today ;-)

While I was still traveling in Norway in Dec, my father broke his ankle. 😥 So, we had our Xmas tree in the hospital in my parents' city, then he moved to physical rehab this month and should finally return home soon. Hence my silence - no mood/time for writing these past weeks.
