Following his recent health problems, Stan (and Val) have decided to step back from masterminding the REF and have asked Rob Dyer to take over the organisation. It’s a sad day but perfectly understandable so we say a huge thank you for their magnificent efforts over 20 years.

Wednesday 30 July after the meeting in the Champs Bar over 20 Pirates and Riders shirts being auctioned on a cash basis. Proceeds split 50/50 between REF and Wessex Cancer Trust. Thanks to the family of the late Pete Grove for the generous donations. A couple of examples here.

Next Wednesday’s auction has been postponed because of the additional races being staged after the main meeting. New date to be arranged in due course.

REF Fund Raiser Any interest at £75 and above for a Troy Lee Designs helmet signed and donated by Tobias? Pirate, Gladiator and Bears fans will recall his big crash whilst guesting in the Plymouth v Redcar meeting as a result the helmet was heavily impacted and condemned.
