Updated time series, Monthly CPS, foreign-born in working age, from our EconoFactOrg with Reem Zaiour. Immigrants continue to catch-up after the drop of 2020-2021. Still 815,000 fewer immigrants in working age relative to the 2010-2019 linear trend.

In today EconoFactOrg , I and Reem Zaiour analyze US data 2000-2023 and show that the largest part of the recent story of Central American Minors in the US is that of families immigrating together and minors reuniting with parents. See econofact.org/migration-of-c…

Just published as open access article. With Reem Zaiour we characterize the big drop in immigration during the Covid crisis, 2020-2021, and show that the decline in foreign workers was not offset by change in internal mobility of US workers. link.springer.com/article/10.100…
