This week Congressman, Jamaal Bowman, asked colleague Thomas Massie, “Have you ever worked in a school?” I ask the same every time I hear a politician propose more guns overall, arming teachers, police at all 116,000 US schools, “hardening” school facilities, etc. Clueless.

What a special treat I had this past week, spending time with all the amazing 1st graders at Wade Thomas! We learned about a tricky word that often fools us into underestimating the capabilities of others. There were tricky tricks, too! Thank you Children for Change!
