It’s astounding that after a massive family separation operation, mass sexual assault of detainees, trapping immigrants in COVID-infected detention centers, and now reports of mass hysterectomies (which the US has done before), abolishing ICE is controversial. Where’s the line?

I know there’s a lot of focus on the election, but we cannot forget the virus. Yesterday we had more than 121,000 new Covid-19 cases – a record high. This is a stark reminder that though we have been at this for eight months, the pandemic is not over. Be kind and wear a mask.
