On Sept 22, 2025, Egyptian activist Alaa Abdel Fattah walked free after 12 years behind bars. For over a decade, the Egyptianstate tore him from his his mother Laila, his son Khaled, and his community. We honor Alaa, his family, and all political prisoners still behind bars.
