Days can feel quite long being a patient in hospital, so we’ve been playing some games with our patients! Battleships was one of the favourites today. Our nurses need some practice as our patients are always winning! 🚢🌊

This is Lily 🐶 Lily is one of our long stay patients dog & they haven’t been able to see each other for a long time due to being on CCU. Today we brought in Lily!! She was very well behaved (& very cute). They were both super happy to see one another after such a long time☺️

When pts describe their ICU delirium memories in our follow up clinic they are often complex and terrifying. It's great to hear how they felt their ICU diaries helped them understand their stay & how they are certain going into the garden helped them to feel normal again 🌻🌷🌳
