I’ve been receiving some lovely comments around Landfill Mountains recently. Because it’s about oral storytelling and magic, it’s one that works really well as an audio book!

Not long till I can announce the release date of the next Late Crew... it'll be in 2024...

Back on twitter to talk about this... last year, my children's book The Late Crew won a national award, I toured the UK visiting carers charities... and my publisher closed its doors. 💔 But now it's got a new publisher Valley Press, and a shiny new sequel coming out!

It's been amazing visiting schools with this book, and the ChildrensBookAward has definitely helped me to do that!!

Lovely visit to Action With Young Carers Liverpool and Actionwithyoungcarers AWYC Wirral - and some amazing aliens being made up by the young people!

This means a lot! Organisations like Sheffield Young Carers do so much for young carers.

So as of September 3rd, I'm no longer only the author of a Middle Grade book - but a Middle Grade series!!!

Absolutely wonderful group of young people - who made up some cool aliens, and also took part in a great game of zip-zap-boing! And hopefully they'll be pleased to know I wrote another chapter of The Late Crew 3 on the train today...

This schools tour with Carers Support - Bristol & South Glos was amazing - especially meeting young carers groups in different schools, and raising awareness through assemblies!
