The state of Missouri just knowingly executed an innocent man. This was a modern day state sponsored lynching. The man responsible is Gov Mike Parson. He pardoned white republicans who were actually guilty, but refused to intercede to save the life of an innocent black man.

Okay. Let’s talk about the Ishgardian discourse quickly. A few observations, and my opinion on the subject. I won’t speak on lore too much, because it ultimately isn’t the issue. We all know the guy was wrong from the beginning. I am black and indigenous. Let’s start.

Second: The guy defined himself as an “Ishgardian nationalist” and was calling Turali characters “s*v*ges” and “uncivilised”. That’s when this stops being a “RP drama” and it becomes an actual, irl issue. You know damn well what this wording has been used to justify, even today.

At the end of the day, black and indigenous ppl cannot exist in peace. We cannot play a game without random racists. We cannot do fan art without getting called slurs. We cannot do cosplay without getting harassed. We have our very experiences thrown to the side. It’s exhausting.
