Marc Winn Pierre Blampied As I said, actually bothering to engage and turn up to P&R tax briefings and events during this term would have helped regarding this topic.

Marc Winn Pierre Blampied You can invite people but it’s their choice not to attend and engage. How far should P&R go to engage with someone who isn’t interested in engaging?

Carl Meerveld has branded himself as the "Get Things Done" candidate — unless it's education or GST, in which case it's more like "Pause, Review, and Reverse."

Another excellent article by Richard Graham in yesterday’s Guernsey Press and correctly covering ESC States of Guernsey which covers the poor performance of this committee!!

Richard Digard Jayne Ozanne Pierre Blampied David Piesing I do agree they should’ve put out some type of calculator to show a comparison between now and GST+. Difficulty is people are adamant it’ll change to 10% etc when why would we, as that’s double what Jersey charge.

Jon Collenette's article on taxation in the Press today (Friday) should be essential reading before casting one's votes in the 2025 Guernsey Election. The most honest appraisal of the island's situation & options I have read to date.

🗳 Our household voting is ☑️ Not going to lie, teen was not entirely engaged, but was interested in policies that may enabling them to afford to stay here, including those of #ForwardGuernsey & others). I admire everyone who has stood...the toughest job application ever.

Jim Falla I produced and hosted 7 Forward Guernsey podcasts... the 7th will be available tomorrow. Our platform stats confirmed after 5 episodes that downloads were heading towards 300. So we were pleased that we had that engagement. Does that help Jim ?

I’ll be joining Patrick Christys on GB News in a couple of minutes to discuss the shocking and oh so surprising revelation that when you persecute business owners through the tax system - they move somewhere else. I know, right…?
