1st January 1992 I stepped up from Station Mechanic to Coxswain/Mechanic at Ilfracombe. Today 32 years later it seems appropriate that I step back as a relief Coxswain at The Lizard. Hopefully I shall still be able to get afloat with the RNLI just in a different way
