Oh. Well. Cue shnuggles. He's still crying. He's a big old baby. He watched a kid accidentally kill a butterfly and it crushed his soul.

Wow. He's never had a dad before. "It crushed my soul. . ."

He was such a baby. He sniffled and wiped his eyes, trying really hard not to seem as torn up about it as he actually is.

He sniffled and nodded. He was just soft and innocent. Don't judge him.

He nodded and curled up on the couch, bringing his knees to his chest. He looked all around as he hugged his knees. He wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. He was still very upset.

Oh. Oh, his little heart. The wings made him smile a bit. "I. . .I don't think I've ever had marshmallows in my cocoa. I don't think I've ever really had cocoa now that I think about it."

He made a soft sound and took a little sip before making a rather happy little sound. "It tastes really good."

He was a bit nervous around new people but you were nice to him. And you didn't make fun of him when he was crying over a butterfly. "I like a lot of sweet things. I don't know why I never really had cocoa."

A lot of people are mean, you know. And Nathaniel is very soft. He's fought demons— high ranking ones at that, but blubbers over a butterfly. It's a very strange world for Nathaniel. "What, uh, exactly is cocoa?" He asked, drinking on it some more.

Oh, he was definitely going to be on a sugar high later. He furrowed his brows slightly. "Scrummy?"

He was old but not that old. But he giggled a bit at the word. "I like the way it sounds. It sounds funny!"

He frowned a bit and looked up at you with confusion etched into his features. "That doesn't sound like a very good friend."

He had to think about that for a second. He supposed that made sense. "My brother was the same way. So I guess that makes sense. He was always grumpier than me. But he also dealt with more than I did."

"Me and my brother came around. . .around when Heaven went to War with Lucifer. . ." And it wasn't long after that that his brother was accused of the same things Lucifer was and was kicked from Heaven. It's a sensitive subject for Nathaniel.

"It was. . .scary for me. I was young. Didn't know much. My brother did a lot of the fighting for me. But then the fighting that happened after the Fall. . .well, that was all me." He's gonna curl up some more.
