Our after-school students are rocking school! In March, we celebrated three students of the month awardees. Congratulations to Neli, Camila, and Carlos for all their hard work and for excelling in school! And to all our tutors, thank you for all you do for the kiddos!

El Puente Hispano and Kannapolis City Schools are teaming up to bring you a Hispanic Families Resource Night on Fri, April 21, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at Kannapolis Middle School. We will have free dinner for the entire family, lawyers, Zumba, and over 20 agencies offering information in Spanish!

El Puente Hispano is partnering with Cabarrus County NC, City of Concord, & Kannapolis, NC to host a free event in Spanish to educate residents on the Fair Housing Act and their rights as tenants or homebuyers on Tuesday, April 25 from 6 to 7:00 p.m.

What a fantastic Fair Housing presentation in Spanish we had last night! We had great information and a great group of very engaged participants. Of course, the food was great too! Thank you, Cabarrus County NC, City of Concord & Kannapolis, NC for partnering with us in this initiative!

El Puente Hispano honored our first responders for the third consecutive year and celebrated them the best way we know, with lots of Latin food. And we think they liked it since there were many, many seconds and thirds! GRACIAS for risking your lives to make our community safer!

El Puente Hispano, Prospera USA, and the Cabarrus Economic Development joined forces to present an informative talk to people who want to open businesses in Cabarrus. Over 25 people attended this event, and ten participants requested an appointment to discuss their projects.

Many of our tutors are graduating from High School this year! We are SAD to see them go but SUPER PROUD that ALL of them are going to college! We are grateful for their unconditional help, wonderful disposition & for being an extraordinary inspiration to the kiddos they tutored.
