Yesterday, two Dakota boys were finally able to come home - 143 year after they died at the Carlisle Indian Boarding School. Amos La Framboise and Edward Upright. A delegation went for them and now they their buffalo wrapped caskets rest beneath the skies of our homelands.

How is PAGE advocating for Ss/Ts of AP AfAm Studies? Nothing on their FB or IG on this issue which urgently affects students' enrollment & GPA. Supt. Woods actions have no justification & appear to be a blatant slight against the course & those who teach & study it.

Yes, I'm salty. I've been called into the principal's office twice & reprimanded for having an Amazon teacher wish list. Not for what's on it (reg teacher stuff), but for HAVING one & sharing it. Now I have to watch as everyone else shares theirs to be blessed by those that care

2/2 Richer kids, whose advantages help them succeed w/ assignments, are then "seen by teachers as responsible, motivated, & capable." Conversely, kids who struggle w/HW because of fewer resources at home are blamed for lacking responsibility or motivation: tinyurl.com/4yb6rr52

I'm pretty sure I can say this with no exceptions. I've never gotten value out of a required discussion board post-and-comment activity for an online class. Genuinely, is there research to support this approach?
