Working collaboratively with our partners Population Studies Group, LSHTM, Stéphane Helleringer, we are piloting for the upcoming telephone study on mortality impact of Cyclone Freddy. The mobile phone survey seeks to estimate the mortality impact of the Cyclone on Malawian households.

We have started a five-day enumerator training for a baseline survey for the Social Support for Resilient Livelihoods Project. The study is a collaborative project between C4ED and IPOR on behalf of the World Bank. Data will be collected in Dedza and Nkhatabay districts.

Our enumerators are today in T/A Masumbankhunda in Lilongwe conducting a pilot for the Social Support for Resilient Livelihoods Project. The aim is to test the tool, and identify problems before implementing the survey. We are collaborating with C4ED on behalf of the World Bank.

We are underway with the pre-match activities for the finals of the K20 Million IPOR supported Ziphuphu Njee 2023 Football and Netball Tournament for Zomba Urban and Rural secondary schools. IPOR collaborated with the Anti-Corruption Bureau Malawi, the Ministry of Education in the CSR activity.
