In Nursery we pulled funny faces for our “cress head” pots, we have looked after our seeds all week and have been excited to see our “cress hair” growing so quickly! Next week we will taste the cress. 🌱

Year 4 children have begun researching for their ‘Save the rainforest’ persuasive campaigns!🌳

Year 5 had the amazing opportunity this morning to learn from a park ranger who works for the South Downs National Park. They got to find out about the work needed to keep this space protected and also got to look at skulls and dissect owl poo!

This afternoon Year 5 got to hear about the amazing work that Stonepillow does. Thank you to our visitor for a very informative and engaging afternoon.

On Monday, the school council were able to help Mrs Anderson and Miss Bannister plant more hedgerows along our woodland area.  The children were excited to find lots of creepy crawlies in the mud and get their hands dirty digging holes and planting the hedges.

Year 3 are learning about forces in science this term! They had fun in a practical lesson investigating how speed and direction can be impacted on.

Year 4 headed off to Adur Centre this week for their residential and WOW did they have a good time! From rock climbing and water sports to shooting and low ropes, the children got to experience it all⛺️🧗🏼
