If your laws discourage or ban the fastest, lowest cost, & most labour efficient building types (wood-frame, zero-parking midrise) & building locations (existing "lowrise" areas) you're going to get slow housing output, & very expensive housing. It's not rocket science.

This - accountability for our own political leaders - is an argument IN FAVOUR of releasing these names. The children of war criminals shouldn't be punished for their parents' evil. But politicians who chose to make Canada a their refuge SHOULD be publicly shamed, at minimum.
