This family has been harassing movie lovers in the god damn world capital of movies for the past six years. We’re the last people you want to mess with, we WILL get the happy ending we deserve, and THEY will deserve everything they get until the ArcLight’s projectors shine again!

This guy is doing good work. And yet, he’s clearly been threatened by the owners of the dome. My basic hatred of corporate real estate is perfectly encapsulated here. All about greed, never about making the community better. OPEN THE FUCKING DOME!

This is personal. My mom Edie Adams helped open the Cinerama Dome in 1963 when “It’s A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World” premiered shortly after JFK’s assassination. Here she is (far left) with some of the cast at the groundbreaking of the Dome. OPEN THE FUCKING DOME, Forman’s!

The closure of the Cinerama Dome and Arclight Hollywood, for six years now, still feels like an open wound for me. I genuinely spent more time in those cinemas than anywhere else in L.A. and it remains very sad that this moviegoing mecca can't come back. I still hold out hope.

Save Your Cinema don’t stop, please. You’re on the LA Times, The Hollywood Reporter, The Wrap, Page Six, Yahoo, AOL. The city and the creative community is on your side. One way or another, commercial property developers will not turn LA’s cultural artifacts into tax shelters.

Whoever is mayor of Los Angeles should do regular press conferences outside of the Cinerama Dome until it is reopened. This is cultural suicide.

If you call Film LA, the very first option is to report a production you think should be shut down for not having a permit. The third option is to try and get a permit. If you don't get your application in my 10am a week before the shoot, they will not process your application.
