This week the Museum of Science hosted Portraits of Pride Through Narratives, an evening where we honored members of the LGBTQ+ community of Boston and beyond. Thank you to Governor Maura Healey, MayorWu, Jean Dolin and the PORTRAITSOFPRIDEUS team.
Thank you to our speakers Rev Dr. Brandon Crowley, Scott Hadland, MD, Persuasian, and Wilnelia Rivera for sharing your stories with us and being inspirations this month and all through the year 🏳️🌈 ❤️
Thank you City of Boston for hosting us. It has been a beautiful Pride month. Thanks to all of our sponsors, partners, supporters and visitors. Special thanks to our honorees for allowing us to tell their stories.
A special thank you to our guest speaker, Jean Dolin, for sharing about PORTRAITSOFPRIDEUS and the importance of diverse experiences. And so much appreciation for City Awake & @BostonChamber for giving us space to share how we’re making a difference in our community & industry
The AMC Boston Common hosted a private screening of the Netflix movie “Rustin.” It’s about Bayard Rustin – the black, gay man who was an unsung hero of the march on Washington. The curator of PORTRAITSOFPRIDEUS was one of the organizers of the event. trib.al/foXkpsw
