One of our friends have bought in some giant sunflower heads for us all to see. The pre-school decided to pick of all of the buds using tweezers to see the seeds underneath. E said “They are from my garden we give them lots of water to grow” A said “This is bigger than my head”

Lots of Autumn crafts happening at Portico Kindergarten today. We used pine cones and conkers that we have collected over the last couple of days and decided to do some printing. The children loved rolling and stamping the natural resources, noticing different shapes and patterns

Portico Kindergarten took part in yoga+breathing exercises for #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek. We spoke about how important it is to take care of ourselves and our bodies. We even have our “Ask me about” stickers to encourage the children to talk about their day.

The Pre-School were so lucky yesterday to have Forest School with Mrs Dykes from AughtonTownGreen. They had so much fun den building, mini beast hunting and exploring the woods. The outdoors makes us feel so happy! Nicole Politis

HAPPY GREEK DAY! From Kindergarten 🇬🇷 We have loved celebrating the Greek culture today, this morning we painted our very own Greek flags, looked at pictures of the beautiful country and its islands, as well as learning some Greek words and trying Greek food. Nicole Politis
