Going to regret tweeting this but Disabled people, where are we getting single use plastic straws now? They've disappeared off Amazon Nondisabled people, do not tweet me about alternatives. Just believe that I know my needs

The reality of the single-use plastic ban is it negatively impacts persons living w/ disability. Dad, who lived w/ Cerebral Palsy, would hoard them in the nursing home. He foresaw the day he would not be able to secure plastic straws. He could not drink from reusable options.

This week I completed 2 days of Person Centred Training with UNITI It was a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the ways of thinking and individuals who walk alongside Mom and I in our journey. Looking forward to bringing the tools into my own work (stay tuned!)
