Last weekend saw our black belt candidates signing up to the boot camp process to prepare them for their black belt test in June! We're looking forward to seeing them back on the mats this weekend for their first official bootcamp!

New Month and two new themes for our classes! All throughout February we will be looking at Accuracy and Fitness in lessons and exploring what those two things mean and how we achieve them. Juniors classes don’t forget to pick up your homework!

I personally had a great time teaching classes this weekend! Starting with kickboxing "live" pad work for our JUNIOR BLACK BELT CANDIDATES on Friday and then a super-fun sparring class on Saturday working on sweeps and takedowns! Thanks to Charlie and Maisie for making me sweat!

We had a fantastic week of gradings at PMA Harrogate! Well done everyone who put in so much effort, from our Little Champs to our teens and adults! Lots of perseverance on show! Belts and certificates will be presented next week. Now to set our next goal and work hard towards it!

It's been great getting back to regional staff training sessions this summer with our colleagues from @pma_leeds_bradford Thanks for a fun session this morning! The collaboration really shows when our instructors get to planning and delivering fun lessons!

Just finished teaching the first 2 sessions of a 12 week #self-defence course for women and girls at Rossett School. Great to be back in the school where I used to work as a maths teacher! Really impressed with the maturity of the girls taking part today! #harrogate #kravmaga

It's great to get back to our regional staff training sessions with PMA North Leeds and PMA Bradford after a few weeks off! We've been working on how we teach our more advanced curriculum so that it's accessible for everyone, whether their goal is to compete or not.

Adults and Teens or all Abilities working on changes of level last week in kickboxing. This week will be working on some clinch work! Looking forward to seeing everyone back in class!

We love the effort our youngest students put into their training! Over time it becomes clear that hard work pays off. One of the best things about teaching is seeing your students improve over the years!
