Yesterday, we shared resources created for the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation (NCTR ) Since June, our teams have collaborated to execute a social media campaign to promote #TruthandReconciliationWeek2024. We are honoured that NCTR entrusted us with this project.

pipikwan pêhtâkwan was proud to assist Damian Abrahams and Indigital Media on in-kind media relations support for Damian’s Survivor’s Portrait gallery at Kingsway Mall. Open until October 6, the gallery is a somber, but powerful showcase of Indigenous resilience.

October 4 is Sisters in Spirit Day, a day of awareness for #MMIWG2S+. Indigenous women, girls, Two-Spirit and gender-diverse peoples are overrepresented in statistics of violence. This impacts the lives of all on Turtle Island. We must continue to demand justice. #SISVigils

wâsikan kisewâtisiwin, in partnership with Amii, is a 2024 MIT Solver (MITSolve)! Our Indigenous-powered AI tool correcting unconscious bias or racism directed at Indigenous Peoples online was 1 of 30 solutions selected. Read more at: solve.mit.edu

pipikwan pêhtâkwan is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of The Honourable Murray Sinclair, Mizhana Gheezhik (The One Who Speaks of Pictures in the Sky). The Honourable Sinclair touched many lives in his 73 years and our thoughts are with his family and community.
