What a wonderful #SSB2023 conference! Great research, discussion, and people. Very thankful for this experience, and beyond excited for the next week at Chamela.

And that’s a wrap to #Chamela2023 #SSB2023- what an incredible experience the conference and week long immersive phylogenetics workshop was. Learned a lot, met an amazing group of people, and experienced unique flora/fauna. Huge thanks to everyone who made it happen!!

Today wraps up the Northern Colorado Plateau Network (branch of the NPS) conference in Moab. It was a wonderful time meeting people and presenting the unique plant, fruit fly, parasitoid interaction unfolding in Capitol Reef NP.

Some exciting news- so happy to announce that I will be joining @MaribethLatvis’s lab at UArk for my PhD! I will be continuing to work on Silene, and am excited to explore evolutionary drivers of rarity in this genus🌸🧬

What a wonderful time at #Botany2023! Saw some great plants, caught up with friends/met new ones, and had a blast talking about Capitol Reef NP’s florivorous fruit flies. See you next year!
