Pomperaug defeats Immaculate and Notre Dame in XC today. Sophia Oliva and Liam Quinn lead the girls and boys teams with first place runs.

Led by Gabby Carroll in the girls race and Eoin Collette in the boys , Pomperaug sweeps Brookfield , Stratford and Masuk in SWC XC

PHS Girls beat Joel Barlow 17-46. The Panthers were led by Sofia Oliva,Gabby Carroll, Emily Bevilacqua, Lexie Kulis and Avery Kugler !

PHS Boys lose to Barlow 24-33 and Beat Kolbe 20-43. The Panthers were led by Eoin Collette, Ethan Hudson, Jonah Turner ,Joey Kovach and Ben Kania.

The 2025 version of Pomperaug Cross Country will have its organizational meeting on Tuesday June 4 at 6:30 pm in the PHS health room ( next to the main gym). Come and find out about the upcoming season !!

Besides Coach Wright being one of the starters at the Olympic Trials Michaela Meyers of PHS is running the 800. On Friday night she will be in heat 2 of 4 heats. Top 6 and the next 3 fastest  overall will make the semi finals.The semis are on Sunday with the finals on Monday.

Congrats to medal winners Maddie Mariani and Gabby Carroll at the competitive Wilton Invitational. RJ Piccirillo,Brady Fritz and Dan Flanagan led the boys team.

The PHS XC teams are at Bethel on Tuesday vs Bethel,Immaculate and Bunnell. Girls enter at 2-0 , boys at 1-1.

Girls xc went to 5=0 yesterday after beating Bethel, Bunnell and Immaculate .Boys went 3-2 after losing to Bethel and beating Immaculate and Bunnell.

Congrats to both teams as they both swept Newtown , Masuk and Notre Dame at Settlers Park in Southbury. Madelyn Mariani and R.J. Piccirillo led the Panthers.
