Nasty bit of rot found under the rear brake pin bracket on this Jet 200 New piece let in and all is good now. An otherwise excellent frame.

Replacing the engine mounting tube on a frame breather and found this. Too thin for a strengthening bracket, possibly for positioning the tube?

SX 150 engine rebuild complete and off darn scarf today.

Copacabana! Well not exactly, first time we have worked on a Brazilian frame. A few interesting changes from it’s Italian cousin. Wish l was in Rio now, it’s bloody freezing in the jig room.

Italian GP 150 now finished. New stand cross member, rear footboard support arms, rear brake pin ,rear frame dimensions adjusted. New legshield bracket fitted.

Targa Twin 275 number 41 with 5 speed gearbox complete and ready for collection.

LI frame reworked to fit GP bodywork. New main tube, stand cross member and rear brake pedal pivot. Plus a little geometry adjustment here and there.

Italian GP 200 frame reworked. Bad smash on this one, fork tube 50 mm back and over to near side in a big way. Lower race area badly deformed so new tube fitted and all other dimensions adjusted.

A right rum fudge on pin.

Pete’s series two finished, new magneto housing, bearings, and seals. Drive side bearing , seal and retaining plate. Cylinder and crankcase surfaces reworked. Nice noisy VW clubman to top it all off. facebook.com/mikephoenixsco…

Yorkshire customers Italian GP 200 finished. Full jig check, new petrol flap hinge, stand cross member, rear brake pin and a few dimension alterations, new holes in the number plate area with correct dimples.
