Today we launched the Canadian Fund for Local Initiatives whose aim is to support increased young women’s economic participation and self-reliance by catalysing a conducive local environment for female entrepreneurship through community engagement and skills development.

A fish processing training facilitated by officials from Dept of Fisheries. This training was part of the socio-economic empowerment project which is aimed at reducing HIV vulnerability among young women and is being supported the Canadian Fund for Local Initiatives #CFLI50

This is one of the many beneficiaries of our education support programme.

Our Community Nutritional Programme supported a total of 298 malnourished children with nutritional supplements at 6 govt health facilities ( 4 rural based) and 1 community school hosting children with disability. A total of 112 recovered at the end of 2022.

With Funding from Canadian Fund for Local Initiatives, and ELMA, and technical support from Department of Fisheries and Small and Medium Enterprise, PriCHO has economically empowerment 45 (15 per group) rural young women in Fish Marketing informal sector businesses.

Primrose yesterday donated 40 desks to Chiawa Primary School to reduce desk deficit. The organization later handled over the borehole which will be accessed by three villages namely Chiawa, Muchigamire and Kalipano, and approximately 500 people will access clean water.
