As someone whose co-funded with HJWF, I’m extremely disappointed in their decision to pull funding from CASA Maryland for displaying solidarity with the Palestinian people. It sets a terrible precedent in #philanthropy. It is ill informed & wrong. marylandmatters.org/2023/11/16/fou…

I've been tracking, with other funders, the backlash that grassroots organizations and intermediaries will inevitably experience as a result of any show of solidarity with Palestine. We knew this could and would happen. Solidarity to the organizations who will not be silenced.
