A @ChurchillTrust highlight, my visit to UN City (23/6/23) to meet with WHO/Europe to discuss importance of health literacy for children & adolescents (Anastasia Koylyu, Siff Nielsen & Stef Harsch-Oria). Much agreement & commitment to continue focus together.Pinching myself!

Thanks to Rasmus Baagland & Tue Kristensen from the Health Directorate in Copenhagen. Great to hear Sundhedsstyrelsen started their health literacy journey 4 years ago, with focus on health using "8 paths to a health literacy organisation". Great that workplaces & kindergartens next.

Happing now at European Parliament EUPHA fully supports this call for multi-annual #operatinggrants for health NGOs. This is needed for independence, continuity, level playing field. Read our editorial in #EJPH on this: academic.oup.com/eurpub/article… With Milka Sokolović

Wow...just wow...thanks OsloMet and friends for making my time in Oslo so productive. Great to share knowledge Kirsti Riiser Sølvi Helseth & team and I am super excited for what future opportunities exist. Great work, health literacy in Norway is in great hands! @ChurchillTrust

Meeting (7/7/2023) World Health Organization (WHO) with Trinette, Yasmin & Faten Ben Abdelaziz to discuss my @ChurchillTrust question: is health literacy a health, education & community issue? Great alignment in thinking. This was conversation one of hopefully many! You will have to read my report to see answer..

Last day in Geneva @ChurchillTrust: online meeting with Kristine Sørensen "health literacy is like a kitchen sink- we all need to get in and help" & face to face with nicole valentine from SDoH & HiAP World Health Organization (WHO) we discussed the need to consider a shift to a health and wellbeing economy.
