Lost his life this day 20th.July 1940. PO. Edmund John Hilary Sylvester. One of THE FEW. bbm.org.uk/airmen/Sylvest… He was lost when his Hurricane was shot down into the Channel in the Lyme Bay area. He was awarded the DFC.
