Our KS5 Photography group have been out in the community snapping key images as they focused on the topic of transport. They took lots of photos of cars, buses, bridges and traffic lights before picking their favourites to create a magazine article for their peers! 📸 Oracle Sixth Form - PCA

Today the entire Sixth Form visited the Arcade Club as their end of year rewards trip! They all had a fantastic time trying to beat each other's high scores and trying out the retro computer games that they had never played before! 👾 Park Community Academy The Sea View Trust

As part of our Sixth Form external college links, 8 of our students are now enrolled on a weekly course at Blackpool & Fylde college, as they work towards a qualification in Health and Childcare. They already can’t wait for their next session next week! Park Community Academy

Today some of our KS5 students visited Pizza Express. They discussed the history of pizza and the Pizza Express brand, before being shown how to make their own pizzas. They all learnt valuable skills and knowledge to help our own 'Dough on the Go' venture! 🍕The Sea View Trust

5M enjoyed making banana muffins during their cooking lesson. They followed instructions, sourced the correct ingredients & utensils and enjoyed eating their muffins all in one lesson! Park Community Academy

Sixth Form students visited Blackpool North train station to explore the Railway200 travelling museum. This fantastic exhibition is touring stations across the UK, giving schools the chance to learn all about the history and future of train travel through interactive activities!

Today our Sixth Formers welcomed Laura, from the Department of Work and Pensions, who came to talk about careers and her own career journey. Later everyone took part in an activity about different job roles and discussed work experience. What an informative morning! Park Community Academy
