Before and after my UI overhaul. Half of the buttons don’t do anything yet but I’m super happy with how it’s going

Took a few months off of development while dealing with some personal life stuff. But I am BACK and more motivated than ever. Picking right back up where I left off 👊🏻

Recently discovered a rookie mistake that I made. In Island Royale I hardcoded a link to join the discord server… not knowing that by default discord links expire 🙃. I’ve had a dead link in my app for months. Will be fixed in the next update

Anybody know of accounts on here that host Spaces on here for indie game devs? I want to be more active in engaging with the community

Really starting to appreciate good level design in platformers. Sometimes the difference between stupidly easy and impossibly hard is hard to hit. Crazy impressive how Nintendo has nailed it in Mario games so many times

Any indie devs working on a game and want to talk about it? I want to start hosting some indie devs spaces on here. I think there’s a lot of interest in that kind of thing. Shoot me a DM if you’re interested!

I started tracking the hours that I work on my game. I was hesitant at first because I didn’t want my side project to feel too corporate, but it has been pretty cool to see the distribution of how I spend my time

Accomplished more in one awesome night of focused and dedicated coding than I did in a month of low-discipline lazy work. I can’t imagine how productive people are who can hit that mindset regularly

Thinking about starting a series on Spaces where I chat with a fellow #indiedev about their current project, what motivated them, what their goals are, challenges they’ve faced, etc. I’ve never done any form of podcast or interview so it seems like a fun way to step out of my

Not sure why I try to pack so many features into each release. Launching an update on the App Store is so quick and easy. Tonight I’m going to break roadmap into smaller releases so I can push functionality more frequently #indiedev #gamedev #iosdev

Basically no progress on my game this week. Disappointed in my work ethic but not going to let one bad week keep me down. Going to keep my head up and do better this week 👊🏻 #indiedev #gamedev

Meeting other indie game devs is always so motivating and rewarding. I highly recommend looking into if there are any game dev meetups or a local IGDA chapter in your area #indiedev #gamedev #networking

🎙️ Excited to announce the first episode of my new X Spaces series: Inside Indie Dev This Saturday at 9pm I’ll be talking with Vadenyxt about his project Deadzone Aeon. We’ll be talking about the inspirations behind the game, the development process, and how he has utilized AI
