Sports are not played in ideal situations, training should reflect that. Hot, cold, without your favorite music, without your squat t-shirt, etc. Train for sports, not ideal circumstances.

Behavior shows character, the way people act is the clearest indicator of who they are, spotting it early gives you an edge, because once you understand their patterns you know how to deal with them without being caught off guard or wasting time.

I’ll be happy when… I’ll be content when… I’ll be confident when… I’ll be successful when… This is called destination addiction. You’ll be waiting for conditions to be “perfect” forever. It's a life of frustration. Show up on purpose each day and enjoy the journey.

Growing as a coach isn’t just about gaining more knowledge. It’s about using fewer words. You can drown a player in coaching points. Simplicity is key.

If you want to be average, do things in an average way every day. If you want to be great, do things in a great way every day. It’s as simple as this: -Tolerating average will never produce greatness. -Greatness is never achieved without a sense of urgency.

Choose people who feel like peace in a life full of daily battles. Choose those who choose you like moon, in all your phases as well as absence. Choose those who add a dash of magic on a dull day. Choose those who feel like comfort.
