WHY I WILL VOTE IN FAVOUR OF SUSAN CARTER'S VOLUNTARY ASSISTED DYING AMENDMENT (Residential Facilities) Bill 2025. Voluntary assisted dying (aka euthanasia) became legal in New South Wales from 28 November 2023. There are around 460 residential aged care facilities across NSW.
