Really interesting read Martin Johnes - 🏴 continues to have a strained relationship with wealth creators that I have never understood & at times a myopic view of the world with many claims of being world class that don’t stack up. Most progressive places do better on both fronts
The Severn Estuary and the gateway to Monmouthshire and the CCRCityDeal Cardiff Capital Region is down there somewhere 😁
My first visit to the wonderful new Monmouthshire / Sir Fynwy Severn View Residential Home this week with Mary Ann Brocklesby and Cabinet Secretary Jayne Bryant Newport West . A truly stunning place for residents to live their best lives. I’ve never seen a better place than this. bit.ly/3MebL3i
It does look great Catherine. Turning an old disused railway line into an inclusive active travel route for the benefit of many. More to come. Great work Paul Sullivan MonLife Active
The flag of Ukraine has flown every day Monmouthshire / Sir Fynwy in Usk since the illegal invasion and war began. It will stay until the end.Our citizens have embraced hundreds of Ukrainian nationals as guests in our county until they can safely return home #Ukraine’sIndependenceDay 🇺🇦
So right Hannah Woodhouse - you can lose yourself here for hours. Add in the ancient beauty of Llanthoney Abbey and the hospitality of LlanthonyPrioryHotel and you just can’t go wrong. One of my favourite places in Monmouthshire - timeless
I am a massive fan of learning through challenge within the natural world. Having another 36 ‘Golds’ working through is brilliant Andrew Woolley - you continue to lead the way 👏👏
Given the constraints within which Comisiwn Democratiaeth a Ffiniau Cymru Shereen Williams are working, as a resident in one and CEO of the other, I’ll take 12 😁👍
The wild horses of the Black Mountains and surrounding areas. Features of the landscape since Roman times. You will more often than not catch a glimpse when out walking in these parts of Visit Monmouthshire and Visit Powys
I was delighted to hear yesterday of the progress being made by The Princess of Wales The Prince and Princess of Wales - cancer requires many forms of bravery, being prepared to be public is one of them. It does help others 👏👏
Really excited to be welcoming Jenipher, a coffee grower from Mt Elgon in Uganda to talk to Monmouthshire / Sir Fynwy schools on Thursday about the difference #fairtrade makes. #bethechange #fairtradefortnight Overmonnow Primary School Osbaston Church in Wales School RogietPrimary
