Enjoying In To The Breach so far! I wonder if enemies make random moves or whether they try to make a clever move so that a player always has a chance to minimize his damage? If the latter it's very smart.

Studying Unity's FPS source code. Lots of interesting gems! But..at the same time the whole ECS thing is wat too overcomplicated. I do understand where it's useful but trying to fit it for everything looks a bit like an overkill. Doom3 source code is way more clear! #unity3d #ecs

Finished Into The Breach. What a game! I was so lucky to win the final battle with only one health bar left. It was the last enemy's turn when my energy tower all of a sudden resisted an attack! Inexpressible feeling. I remember something similar happened in #FTL final battle :)

Spent _lots_ of time trying to isolate a bug and write a test for it. The irony is I fixed the bug quite fast but could not verify the fix by a test.

We heavily use #php for build system scripting and also for some tooling. Going to migrate to #Golang for such tasks.

Among all my consoles my currently favorite one is...2ds xl :) I no longer care about graphics but rather game design, mechanics and portability. And this is where 2ds shines.

Maybe I'm already a dinosaur but I tend to store my C# code split into modules rather than "class == file". Just like it's usually done for C, Go source code.

Migrating old coroutine based code to asyc/await using UniTask library. Looks very promising so far. #unity3d

Migrated our #golang pipeline to modules and started using tableflip instead of grace for graceful server restarts. Looks gooood.

I think #TheWitness it's a souls like game in puzzle genre :) It tortures your brain, makes it cry and melt! And what a feeling of catharsis after solving any major puzzle, just like beating a hard boss in Bloodborne!

I'm quite amazed with tmux customization and extension capabilities. Very thoughtful application of *nix principles.
