I think it says something that so many scientists noticed Pubmed was down on a random Saturday afternoon in March Scientists noticed because: (1) we rely on Pubmed to look up info and (2) because scientists are working around the clock to solve health problems. Keep us working.

Children dying from cancer due to fewer medical advances will be one of the many unfortunate and COMPLETELY AVOIDABLE outcomes of this administration’s ongoing dismantling of the #NIH. We should be enabling medical discoveries for our kids, not thwarting them.

Republicans once argued that biomedical research was an engine for economic growth and helped double the NIH budget. It led to countless medical breakthroughs and saved lives. Now, they are proposing to cripple the NIH through massive cuts. Who will have the courage to say no?

Prozac just helped T cells flip the script on solid tumors. Cell study: blocking SERT with fluoxetine (Prozac) or citalopram (Celexa) cuts tumor burden >50 % in 5 models; with anti‑PD‑1 it drives complete remissions in some mice. High SERT = worse patient survival. Paper 👉
