Appropriation committee recommends $336.8 mill for improving irrigation water, lakes, golf courses, and hiking trails in 2022 budget. $270 for a new prison. Only $20 million for affordable housing for Lincoln and Omaha. And zero for economic development for North/South Omaha!

Today is political judgment day for any State Senator that says s/he care about North Omaha, minorities, redlining, and all the other talking points they say when campaign for our votes. Proposed budget neglects North Omaha. They will no longer get a pass. Democrat or Republican.
