What a day. This afternoon I learned that the Hunger Heroes: Missed Meal Mayhem won the Washington Library Association’s OTTER Award for Young Readers. The award is doubly amazing and meaningful, as the nominees are chosen by LIBRARIANS and the winner voted for by KIDS. Honored!
